Map your water table

The figures that come round every quarter. Load the sample site above and you will see a finished one before you go and find your own file.

  • Water levels contoured from your wells, with arrows down the slope of the surface it worked out rather than arrows you drew.

  • Two gauging dates in one file is all this needs. It maps how far the water moved between them: rises solid, falls dashed.

The other figure a monitoring report needs. A result that was never found is kept as a limit here, not turned into a zero.

  • One analyte per figure, contoured from your wells. Type in the standard you are held to and it is drawn as its own named line.

The question a regulator asks is whether a site is getting better. This answers it well by well, and draws the answer where the well is.

Map the water type

Not how much of one thing is in the water, but what kind of water it is. Your major-ion results, drawn as a shape at each well.

Where the wells are, and what any other number does across the site. Neither of these needs a water level in the file.

  • Every well posted and named, on a clean grid or over your own site plan, with the scale bar and the north arrow already there.

  • Three columns is enough: an x, a y and a number. Thickness, a field reading, a ground elevation — the same contouring, pointed at any column.

Numbers for the report text

Not everything that comes out of a gauging round is a figure. Some of it is a sentence with a number in it, and this is where that number is worked out.

  • Three wells give the classic three-point answer and more than three give a fitted plane, with every step of the arithmetic shown on the sheet.

What this costs

Everything on this site is free while we launch, including the parts that are marked for a paid plan later. Anything free today stays free: that is a promise about this list, not about a trial. There is no account, no card, and no checkout anywhere in the site.

We don’t charge per figure because we can’t see your figures.

The method, its settings and the number of wells behind the surface are printed on the sheet, where a reviewer can find them. No competitor we looked at does this.

The arithmetic is pinned to references

The interpolation and the contouring are checked against reference outputs from established tools, and against fields whose exact answer is known. One page lists every check, the bound it enforces, and what is not checked at all. See exactly what is checked
